How do I check my R350 grant online application?

To check on the status of your SASSA SRD Grant.

1. Go to the official SASSA SRD Grant website: srd.sassa.gov.za
2. Then enter your ID number followed by the cellphone number you used in your application.
3. Lastly, simply click the “Submit” button and you will get confirmation for your R350 grant application to see whether you are registered or not.

Why is my SASSA status pending?

1. According to SASSA, you will receive a “Status Pending” message if your SRD grant application is still to be approved.
2. This means that your personal and banking details may still need to be verified.
3. Once that process is completed and approved, you will receive an SMS from SASSA requesting your banking details, then you will be paid.

How long does it take to approve SASSA R350 grant application?

Until your R350 grant application has been verified and approved, it will return a “Status Pending” message
However, your application should take less than 30 days to get approved.

How to check SASSA balance R350 status?

You can do this for free by using WhatsApp on your cell phot ne by following these steps;
1.  Add 082 046 8553 to your list of contacts on your cell phone.
2. Then send a WhatsApp message with just one word, “status”.
3. After that’s done you’ll be prompted enter your ID number and the cell phone number you used when you applied for the R350 SRD grant.
4. You will then receive a response with your SRD status.

How to check SASSA status?

To check your SASSA status for R350 payment, just follow these steps
1. Go to the official SASSA website page here: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
2. Then enter your ID number AND your cell phone number on the same page
3. Hit submit and you’ll get a response with your SASSA status

How do I check my SASSA R350 payday advance?

1. Login into your account on the official SASSA page at https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
2. You can also log into your account using the Moya App.
3. Then enter your ID number and the cellphone number you used when you originally applied for the R350 SRD grant.
4. Once you’ve clicked submit, you need to select the month to know when you’ll get your R350 payday advance.
5. After selecting the month of the payday, you’ll see whether it’s been approved and the payday.
6. The payday advance date is the actual date that SASSA will deposit the R350 into your bank account.
7. If you don’t get your grant money paid into a bank account, you can collect it from a SASSA payment point.
7. However, if your R350 payday has not been approved, you have 30 days within which to lodge an appeal.

To do your SASSA status check once you’ve applied for the grant;
1. Click on this link: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
2. Enter your ID number as well as your cell phone number.
3. Submit the form and you’ll get your SRD status which could be approved, declined or still pending.

How to check SASSA balance?

1. Using your cell phone dial this number: *120*69277#
2. Follow the prompts.
3. You will then receive a SMS showing your SASSA balance.

How to apply for SASSA unemployment grant

1. Add 082 046 8553 as a contact on your cellphone
2. Then open WhatsApp and send the following message, to the number above: “Hello”
3. Once you have got a response from your “Hello” message, you should soon receive a response from SASSA
4. Once you have their response, just reply requesting “Help”
5. You will then be given various options, and you must respond with “4”
6. This will lead you to the Unathi SASSA platform message which you should reply with “SRD”
7. You then need to confirm whether your application is for you or someone else
8. Now the actual application begins and you’ll have to enter your Name, Surname and ID Number in the message and hit submit
9. You will then receive a WhatsApp message giving you the next steps to follow.

How to submit banking details to SASSA

If you need to submit or change your banking details with SASSA this is what you should do.

1. Go to the official SASSA website at srd.sassa.gov.za
2. Scroll down to the “How do I change my banking details” section
3. Enter your ID number
4. After doing that you’ll get an SMS with the SASSA banking details link which will be sent to the cellphone phone number you used when you first registered for the SRD grant.
5. Click on the link in the SMS to open the banking details and follow the instructions.

Why is my SASSA money not in

If your SASSA money has not been paid it could be for any of the following reasons;

1. It could be due to a failed verification check regarding your bank details not matching those on record.
2. Or it could be because the information you supplied was incomplete, in other words, you did not provide all the required information.
3. Or your payment could still be pending, meaning that your application is still undergoing verification

SRD Appeal: How to Submit a SASSA Appeal for R350 

First you will need to understand why your application was rejected in the first place.
Some of the most common reasons for having your appeal for R350 declined are the following;
– failing to meet age requirements
– being admitted into a state institution
– being able to provide for yourself or your dependents
– already receiving a state grant

How to Check SASSA Appeal Status

First you’ll need to have the following 2 things ready to check the status of your appeal;

1. South African ID number:
This is your key to accessing your personal information on the SASSA website.
2. Mobile phone number:
The one you used during the SASSA application process.

Then go to the official SASSA website at https://www.sassa.gov.za/.

Once you’re on the site, do the following;

1. Access the Appeals Section
2. Log in Securely with your SA ID number
3. Find Your Appeal Status and enter your ID number again for verification, click “Submit” and your appeal status will be displayed.
